Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time on-site role for an Associate Provider located in Kingston and St. Thomas. The Associate Provider will be responsible for providing high-quality and accessible healthcare services to Jamaican communities. The day-to-day tasks associated with this role include but are not limited to, examining patients, assessing medical histories, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medications, as well as providing referrals for care continuity, medical necessity, as well as follow-up care as appropriate.

Qualifications
- Medical Degree from an accredited institution
- Licensure to practice medicine in Jamaica
- Excellent diagnostic and patient care skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of medical laws, ethics, and regulations
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Experience working in a clinical setting is a plus
- Board Certification in a specialized field of medicine is a plus

Compensation:
Our Provider Associates’ income is normally based on a monthly salary equal to 70% of patient accounts receivable figures. Provider Associates increase their revenues by improving production and efficiency while maintaining patient care quality. time management, improved workflows, and harnessing technology all lead to increased productivity.

SUMMARY:
Working closely with the managing director and Management Team (MT), the key responsibilities of the Medical Director (MD) are to (1) oversee medical and nursing personnel and operations, including supervising all providers, ensuring risk management and quality of care, and developing and implementing all other medical aspects of IntelMed Group operations; (2) provide leadership and organization to implement IntelMed Group goals and objectives for medical and clinical operations; and (3) provide strategic input to the planning and evaluation processes for the organization. The MD works closely with the managing director in developing and implementing the overall clinic services, operations, and objectives. MD provides reports to the CEO regularly for quality improvement progress. MD expects all employees to respond to and participate in emergency situations per emergency policies and procedures.
